How Do You Treat A Rotator Cuff Tear?

Rotator Cuff Tears are of various degrees, geographical location, and type. Therefore, rotator cuff tear treatment will also differ. However, some of these steps may be able to relieve your pain and subsequent limitations caused by a rotator cuff tear.

Ice is also known to help reduce inflammation in the shoulder after a rotator cuff tear. Applying ice also helps to minimize the pain associated with the tear.

Anti-inflammatory drugs can be helpful in reducing the pain associated with a rotator cuff tear. If you decide to take an anti-inflammatory drug, make sure you check with your doctor for the right dosage and duration.

Physical Therapy : The idea of physical therapy for a rotator cuff tear is intended to strengthen the muscles around the shoulder joint, helping to minimize the amount of strain on the rotator cuff tear and the surrounding shoulder girdle.
